Dean began his career working on film documentaries in Denver CO. His fascination with film and sound led him to follow his passion to Los Angeles, resulting in a 34-year career in sound with 29 of those years as a film Re-recording Mixer, mixing a variety of films ranging from comedy, drama, animation and action. Prior to joining Formosa Group, he spent 7 years at Glen Glenn Sound, 21 years at the Walt Disney Studios, 2 years at Warner Bros. and 4 years as an independent. Dean received an Oscar nomination for his work on “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe” and a BAFTA nomination for his work on “Pulp Fiction.” His recent projects include “Point Break” for Warner Bros, “The Finest Hours” for Walt Disney, and New Line’s “Going In Style.”
